Creative Golf Advanced

Creative Golf Advanced is indoor golf simulation software from Slovak studio DATAcrea, built for launch monitor owners who want one program that covers serious practice and family fun. The core package ships with more than 200 real golf courses from around the world, each hand built from LIDAR measurements and refined with hundreds of on-course photos, so bunkers, greens, tees, trees, and even benches sit where they do in real life. A physics model developed over years in the simulation industry handles draws, fades, hooks, and slices, and a post-shot summary shows side and top views with distance, deflection, speed, angle, and spin right after every shot.

Beyond course play, the software is really a training ground. The driving range offers classic, short, long, and special practice areas, plus team training for small groups with a coach and a club fitting mode that compares clubs by carry, backspin, and dispersion. Putting helpers add a grid, animated slope lines, and a predicted trajectory, and a live digital caddy keeps distances and elevations visible in top view.

What stands out is the second personality: family games. Demolition golf, target golf, mini golf, fairy tale golf, and pitch and putt courses come with the base package, and the Golfisimo add-on brings more than 40 playful courses, from a dinosaur park to an underwater kingdom, each built to train a specific stroke. Online tournaments with a global player ranking, cloud accounts that save stats and unfinished games, and support for a wide range of launch monitors round it out. If you want photo-realistic seriousness plus something your kids will actually ask to play, this is the pick.

Courses

3 answers
How many courses does Creative Golf Advanced include?

The Advanced version includes more than 200 real golf courses from around the world, and the official site says there is no extra cost for the full library. Every course is hand created from LIDAR measurements and refined with hundreds of photos taken on the course, so features like bunkers, greens, and even trees and benches match their real-world positions.

Does it have fantasy or family courses too?

Yes. The base package includes entertainment courses like fairy tale golf, mini golf, adventure golf, demolition golf, and target golf, plus short-hole, pitch and putt, and par 3 courses for kids and beginners. The optional Golfisimo add-on adds more than 40 fun courses, including a dinosaur park, an underwater kingdom, and a world beyond the Arctic Circle.

Can I design my own course?

Creative Golf publishes a separate Course Editor with its own manual, aimed at modeling new courses from terrain data and satellite imagery. It is a modeling tool rather than an in-game editor, so expect a real learning curve, and check the editor documentation before planning a custom course project.

Controls & shortcuts

How do I aim and control shots?

Aiming happens mainly in the top view with the mouse, where a live digital caddy shows the distances and elevations that matter for your next shot. During play, on-screen icons open the menu, game statistics, post-shot views, and camera flybys, and the scene view can be rotated and zoomed freely.

What putting help does the software give?

Putting helpers include a grid and animated slope lines that show green undulation, a series of balls tracing the predicted trajectory, and a camera preset for lining up the shot direction. You can also practice putting directly on the greens of selected courses.

How do I know my launch monitor is connected?

The software shows a traffic lights style device status indicator when you connect your measuring device. If the connection drops, the program manages reconnection and can recover and continue your game or practice session afterward.

Setup & connection

4 answers
What do I need to install Creative Golf Advanced?

You need a 64-bit Windows 8, 10, or 11 PC, the setup files (from your dealer or the official setups page), and a 15-character Product Key for each purchased component. The first launch runs a wizard that sets the language, measuring device, screen resolution, and public or private use, then verifies the device connection.

How do I connect a Garmin R10 or R50?

For the R10, install the free Creative Golf Garmin Connector app on a phone or tablet; it acts as a bridge between the device and your PC. The R50 is simpler: it sits next to the ball and connects over your home Wi-Fi, with no additional software or hardware required.

How do I connect a Uneekor device?

For Uneekor devices, the required connector software is included with the device's own installation and measurement software, so no separate purchase is needed.

How long does it take to get all the courses installed?

Downloading the full course library inside the program can take from several minutes to a few hours depending on your internet speed. The install manual suggests starting the course download right after setup and verifying your device connection while you wait.

Gameplay & modes

4 answers
What game formats can I play on courses?

Course play supports Stroke, Match Play, Stableford, Best Ball, and Texas Scramble, with Gross scoring or Nett scoring using player handicaps. You can play 18 holes, the front 9, the back 9, or a custom selection of holes.

What practice modes are included?

The driving range offers classic, short, long, and special practice areas with shot statistics, side and top views, and dispersion charts. Team Training lets a small group train with a coach and compare players, Club Fitting compares clubs by carry, backspin, and dispersion, and there are chip and putt practice and practice-on-course modes.

What fun games come with the software?

The base package includes Target Golf, Easy Golf, Mini Golf, and Demolition Golf, where you smash windows on old buildings for points. The Golfisimo add-on adds games like Darts, Castaway, Shooting Range, Biathlon, Bridges, Barrels, Battlefield, and Grand Slam, each designed to train a specific type of stroke.

Can I run local competitions with friends?

Yes. Local events include Target Challenge, Demolition Challenge, Longest Drive, and Nearest to Pin, and you can set up private tournaments for your friends or club. Public online tournaments are also available for playing against golfers worldwide.

Pricing & license

4 answers
How much does Creative Golf Advanced cost?

Creative Golf does not publish prices on its own site; licenses are sold through dealers and launch monitor vendors. An authorized dealer, Carl's Place, currently lists the software at $500 to $700, so treat pricing as dealer-confirmed rather than official and confirm the current figure with your dealer before buying.

Is it a subscription or a one-time purchase?

Both license types exist. The official manual says each Product Key can be unlimited in time (a perpetual license) or valid for one year (an annual subscription), depending on which license you purchased. Your dealer will tell you which type you are buying.

Do I need anything besides the subscription to connect my launch monitor?

It depends on the device. Uneekor, FlightScope, Garmin, Foresight, and Square devices need no paid connector from Creative Golf's side; the R10 uses a free bridge app and the R50 connects over Wi-Fi. One exception: the Eye Mini Lite needs a paid Uneekor plan for third-party software output, the same requirement as with other simulator apps.

Is there a free trial or demo?

Yes. The official manual recommends downloading the demo version, which has all the features of the full version but a limited gameplay scope, so you can check performance and suitability on your PC before buying.

Online play

3 answers
Can I play online with friends?

Yes. You can create a peer-to-peer online game to play with friends wherever they are, and you can also join or create online tournaments. A player account login is required; without one you can only play locally as a guest.

Is there a global ranking or competitive scene?

Yes. Players who finish public tournaments earn points toward a global player ranking, with the most points going to the top three finishers and some points for participating. The ranking is maintained every year and the winner receives a reward.

Do my stats and unfinished games follow me?

If you create a cloud account, your statistics and unfinished games are saved to Creative Golf's cloud, so you can pick up later wherever you play. Playing without an account limits you to guest play with games saved only on your PC.

Troubleshooting

3 answers
The software starts in a limited demo mode. What is wrong?

The license has not been activated. Enter your 15-character Product Key for each purchased component, either at first launch or through the License Manager, and complete the online activation. Without an activated license the program runs in limited demo mode.

My launch monitor will not connect. What should I try?

Check that the device's own software is running first, since most devices connect through it. For SkyTrak devices a USB cable is the most reliable connection; Wi-Fi direct mode can be flaky. The program also has reconnection management that recovers your game after a dropout.

The game stutters or looks bad on my PC. How do I fix it?

Run the built-in performance test and set the graphics mode to Low, Medium, or High to match your hardware. The Advanced version includes a Memory Manager that stretches weaker graphics cards further, but the official guidance still calls for a dedicated GPU with 4 GB of VRAM minimum, ideally 8 GB.
