Foresight+ explained: Free, Silver, and Gold
Foresight moved its software to memberships. What each tier actually unlocks, and which monitors need one.

The takeaway is simple. A Foresight launch monitor works without a paid membership, but course play and GSPro do not. Price the membership you actually need before you price the monitor.
Foresight moved its software to annual memberships called Foresight+. The tiers are Free, Silver, and Gold, plus a separate Course Pass add-on for course play. All prices below are as of Oct 26, 2026. Check the deal pages for the live price, since membership prices can change.
Free: the monitor still works
Free costs nothing and comes with every Foresight device. You get core data views in the Foresight app and in Foresight Premier on a PC, plus MyBag and your last 10 sessions of history.
That is enough if you mainly want numbers after each shot. It is not enough for a simulator setup built around playing courses. Free does not include practice drills beyond the basics, unlimited history, or course play, and it does not unlock a Course Pass.
Silver: practice, properly tracked
Silver costs $199 a year, as of Oct 26, 2026. It adds unlimited session history, dispersion views, shot tagging and target zones, practice drills, and community challenges.
Silver also makes you eligible for a Course Pass. That eligibility matters more than any single drill. Without Silver or Gold, you cannot buy course play at all.
Gold: the full software unlock
Gold costs $599 a year, as of Oct 26, 2026. It includes everything in Silver, plus swing video capture, coach and student profiles, club comparison views, and more training views.
Gold is also the tier that unlocks third-party software access. Foresight lists GSPro as its example. If you move to Foresight+ and want GSPro, Gold is the tier you need, and the GSPro subscription itself is still sold separately. Our GSPro entry lists it at $250 a year.
Course Pass: the add-on people mistake for a tier
Course Pass is not a third membership tier. It is an add-on that requires Silver or Gold.
- Course Pass: $295 a year, as of Oct 26, 2026, for 35 courses.
- Course Pass Pro: $595 a year, as of Oct 26, 2026, for the full library of 111 courses.
Gold alone does not include courses. That is the most common misunderstanding in the new system, and it is an expensive one if you budget for Gold and assume rounds are included.
What it costs per year
| What you want | Foresight+ cost per year, as of Oct 26, 2026 | | --- | --- | | Basic range data and 10 sessions of history | $0 (Free) | | Full practice tools and unlimited history | $199 (Silver) | | 35 courses | $494 (Silver plus Course Pass) | | 111 courses | $794 (Silver plus Course Pass Pro) | | GSPro, plus its own subscription | $599 (Gold) plus $250 for GSPro, so $849 in total | | Everything: Gold plus all 111 courses | $1,194 (Gold plus Course Pass Pro) |
These are software costs only. They sit on top of the monitor price.
Which monitor needs what
The GC2 is the clearest case. It measures 14 ball numbers with two cameras, including ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry, and peak height. It measures no club data at any price, and no tier adds club data later. A GC2 owner on Free gets a working practice unit. A GC2 owner who wants courses or GSPro pays for the tiers above.
The GC3 adds a third camera and club data, including club speed, path, and angle of attack. Its core ball and club data do not depend on a paid tier. The paid tiers still decide whether you get unlimited history, drills, swing video, course play, and GSPro access.
The Falcon, the ceiling-mounted unit, works the same way on software. The hardware changes where the cameras sit and how big the hitting zone is. It does not change the membership math.
One exception is worth knowing if you already own Foresight software. Foresight says owners with an eligible perpetual FSX license now get Silver and Course Pass at no cost, for as long as that license stays on their account. That is a legacy benefit, not something a brand new GC2 buyer should assume. New buyers should budget from the prices in the table above.
Our take
Buy the GC2 if you want trusted ball data and you are happy practicing on the range. Buy into Silver if you want your sessions saved and your practice structured. Buy Gold only if you specifically want swing video, the extra training views, or GSPro.
Do not buy Gold expecting courses to be included. If courses are the point, Silver plus a Course Pass is the cheaper route, at $494 a year for 35 courses or $794 a year for all 111, as of Oct 26, 2026.
Before you buy, do two checks. First, decide whether you want Foresight courses or GSPro, because that choice picks your tier. Second, check what the 30-day trial on a new unit enrolls you in, and when it ends, so the trial does not quietly turn into a paid year you did not plan for.
Foresight's own help pages confirm the tier structure and the GSPro rule: Gold is required for third-party software access under Foresight+, while Silver and Course Pass are included at no cost only for eligible FSX license holders.
